People often ask: “But where did they put the truckloads of dirt? Tons and tons of dirt is surely visible”. The answer lies in an artificially created peninsula east of Denton where McKinney St leads into Lake Lewisville called Camp Copass. The immense amount of dirt that was left over from excavating miles of tunnels, shafts and chambers of secret underground stuff was hauled off and disguised as an oddly shaped formation of dirt that is clearly manmade. The dirt was used to create a peninsula that houses a camp and is otherwise hidden in plain sight. Don’t take my word for it! Take a day trip out to Camp Copass and see for yourself the oddly shaped formation of earth with its unnaturally narrow entryway.
