Library and Slab in Ditch
On the east side of the Krum Public Library, there’s a large concrete slab that’s 20’x30’. It is different in color and texture than the rest of the concrete at the site. Years ago, it was poured in place to cover up the secret underground. Today, it is camouflaged with a picnic table and a small storage shed. Plans are in the works to expand the library and cover the slab. The cover up is being covered up. Directly across the street from the library, is a slab 12’x15’ lying in the ditch. It didn’t fall off a truck or drop from the sky. It was poured in place to cover up an air shaft that brought fresh air to the secret underground structure beneath the surface.
