    Picket Fence

Near the corner of Riney Rd and Windsor Dr is a house with a white picket fence. A picket fence is usually a symbol of the American dream: a house, two kids and a white picket fence. However, anyone who sees this fence will note the odd placement. Rather than building the fence near the road, it is awkwardly set back 20 feet from the road. Early aerial photos dating from 1958 to 1974 show two rectangular structures placed exactly where the corners of the white picket fence is built today. These two sites mark the location of underground airshafts.
